Our services come to you. We provide state approved  workshops for early childhood educational centers and  home daycare providers in relation to the R.I.E.L.D.S.   We provide one on one consulting for parents in using American Sign Language as a communication source for infants, toddlers and non verbal students. We also provide Extracurricular programs for students to be exposed to language and the arts  

Knowledge's Garden is a company created for the  training and teaching of the educational community: Teachers, Students and Parents. We're devoted to strengthening teaching strategies, observational techniques, organizational tools, communication skills using a variety of visual cues, American Sign Language and programs related to the arts.

Markecia S Lawrence

This Waterbury, Connecticut native has devoted her life to teaching young children. At the age of 13, she began teaching  African Drums for the P.R.I.D.E Cultural Center under director Kay Wyric. This former Western Connecticut State University student later received a degree in Early Childhood Education. She then worked as a preschool teacher for eight years before relocating to Rhode Island. While in Rhode Island she was elected to help create a Early Childhood Learning curriculum for The Children's Workshop and received the "Star Educator" reward. In 2012, She began studying American Sign Language and Deaf Culture at the Community College of Rhode Island. It was in 2014,  Markecia was able to create Knowledge's Garden a educational training company that uses visual cues and American Sign Language as a way for young children to build vocabulary in communicating before the age of speech. In 2015, The Met high school picked up both of Knowledge's Garden extra curricular programs "What kind of artist are you?" and "American Sign Language is fun!"In 2017 Times2 Academy of providence picked both courses for students grades K - 5th. Markecia S. Lawrence is a parent,  a educator and the CEO of Knowledge's Garden
